After an overwhelming response to Pariksha Pe Charcha 2018 & 2019, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was back again to interact with students for the third edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (PPC 2020). The Prime Minister aimed to take away the stress of young students who are appearing for the board examinations and other entrance examinations.<\/p>\n

While the main idea of this interactive session has always been to help students \u201cbeat exam stress\u201d, its utility goes beyond this immediate goal.<\/p>\n

The Prime Minister made a pithy and insightful remark when he said, \u201cIn whatever the country does in this decade, those kids who are in 10th, 11th and 12th standards now have a very great role to play. To make the country reach new heights, to achieve new hopes, all this is dependent on this new generation.”<\/p>\n

How did Vidya Bharati School Students Get Invited to Pariksha Pe Charcha?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The HRD Ministry in partnership with MyGov launched a ‘short essay’ competition on five different themes for students of classes 9 to 12 for the program.<\/p>\n

Out of several thousand entries, only around 2,000 students were selected to participate from all over India in the program. Among all the students attending the event, 1,050 have been selected through an essay competition.<\/p>\n

Vidya Bharati School was proud to be invited with a 12-member student delegation.<\/p>\n

The Session<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Vidya Bharati School got the opportunity to be part of prestigious “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2020” on 20th January 2020. The students profoundly listened to the words of our PM Narendra Modi. The entire session was very informative, enriching and motivating for the students. The students learnt to face all the obstacles of life with ease and optimism.<\/p>\n

Our students got a huge confidence boost when they heard the Prime Minister say, \u201cMarks are not life. Similarly, an examination is not the determining factor for our whole life. It is a steppingstone, an important steppingstone in life. I pray that parents don\u2019t tell them that this is everything. If it does not happen, don\u2019t behave as if you lost everything. You can go to any field. There are umpteen opportunities\u201d.<\/p>\n

While a group of students were invited to watch the event live, we at VBS we made sure that every student benefited from the initiative. The school organized a live telecast of the entire event and got the students to watch the live telecast of the program in their respective classrooms.<\/p>\n

\u2018Pariksha Pe Charcha\u2019 gives us a perfect template on how to deal with concerns of students and this should be replicated at as many platforms as possible. This would not only help students address their short-term anxieties related to exams, but also serve the larger purpose of instilling the right attitude among the younger generation in dealing with the minor and major setbacks in life.<\/p>\n

The essence of PM Modi\u2019s most important message during his interaction with students on January 20 was that we have to create an atmosphere where students are neither burdened with the weight of school bags nor with the expectations of their parents. They should be allowed to express themselves freely and realize their inner talent. And that is perhaps the most vital role of any education system.<\/p>\n

Top 10 Schools in Ghaziabad<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We take immense pleasure to announce that our school has been declared as one of The Top 10 Schools in Ghaziabad<\/strong><\/em><\/a> zone by the recently concluded Times School Survey<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, 2019.<\/p>\n
